Pivoting from event coordinator to something new - 12 months and counting

I want to move from event coordinator to something with more stability. I worked as an event coordinator before this. I have a little time and a small budget for training. How did you start?

I began with informational chats, then a short online course, then a related entry-level role. It took about 12 months.
