Pivoting from bookkeeper to something new, bookkeeper here

After 9 years as a bookkeeper I am thinking about moving into a different field. I worked as a bookkeeper before this. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
