Pivoting from administrative assistant to something new (update)

After 4 years as an administrative assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
