Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - what worked for you?

I received an offer as a delivery driver and I think the pay is a little low. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a competing interview next week.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
