Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? (update)

I received an offer as an event coordinator and I think the pay is a little low. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The benefits are decent. What wording worked?

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
