Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? (update)

I received an offer as an insurance claims processor and I think the pay is a little low. It has been a long 22 weeks. The benefits are decent. What wording worked?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
