Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? (Raleigh)

I received an offer as a data-entry clerk and I think the pay is a little low. Any experience at all would help. I have a competing interview next week. What wording worked?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
