Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - first time posting

It is the first offer in 2 months and I do not want to mess it up. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did it backfire?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
