Offer arrived, can I still ask for more?

It is the first offer in 9 months and I do not want to mess it up. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The benefits are decent. What wording worked?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
