Offer arrived, can I still ask for more?

I received an offer as an event coordinator and I think the pay is a little low. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The hiring manager was friendly and open. What wording worked?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
