Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - any advice?

It is the first offer in 5 months and I do not want to mess it up. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The hiring manager was friendly and open.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
