Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - any advice?

It is the first offer in 2 months and I do not want to mess it up. It has been a long 6 weeks. I have a competing interview next week. Did it backfire?

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
