Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? after 6 years as a quality inspector

I received an offer as a quality inspector and I think the pay is a little low. I am in Hartford, in case local advice matters. The benefits are decent. Did it backfire?

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
