Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? after 14 years as a forklift operator

I received an offer as a forklift operator and I think the pay is a little low. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did it backfire?

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
