I received an offer as an HR coordinator and I think the pay is a little low. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The hiring manager was friendly and open. What wording worked?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
