Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - 20 weeks in

It is the first offer in 8 months and I do not want to mess it up. It has been a long 20 weeks. I have a competing interview next week. What wording worked?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
