Offer arrived, can I still ask for more? - 13 months and counting

I received an offer as a bookkeeper and I think the pay is a little low. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did you negotiate?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
