Negotiating pay when I have been out of work (update)

Tariq Delacroix · 2026-08-21T21:09:40.503Z

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I looked up ranges in Sacramento and they vary a lot. What did you say?

Asking about the range for the role first worked for me. Some recruiters share it.
