Negotiating pay when I have been out of work (update)

Camila Hovland · 2026-06-20T15:45:33.805Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a software tester. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I do not want to price myself out. How do you research fairly?
