Negotiating pay when I have been out of work, social media manager here

I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. It has been a long 5 weeks. I looked up ranges in Milwaukee and they vary a lot. What did you say?

I gave a range based on local postings and said I was flexible depending on the whole package. They did not push back.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
