I do not know whether to give a range or ask for theirs. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I looked up ranges in Dallas and they vary a lot. Does giving a range hurt?

Check several sources for pay in Dallas, then pick a range where the low end is one you can live with.
