Negotiating pay when I have been out of work (Denver)

Umar Silva · 2026-04-25T22:06:13.920Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a quality inspector. I also do not want to sell myself short. What did you say?

Asking about the range for the role first worked for me. Some recruiters share it.
