Negotiating pay when I have been out of work - 2 weeks in

Emeka Moreno · 2026-07-04T19:55:01.319Z

A recruiter asked for my salary expectations on a first call as I look for work as a school bus driver. Thank you in advance. I also do not want to sell myself short. How do you research fairly?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
