Negotiating an offer, is it too late?, operations analyst here

I received an offer as an operations analyst and I think the pay is a little low. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did you negotiate?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
