Negotiating an offer, is it too late?, line cook here

It is the first offer in 14 months and I do not want to mess it up. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a competing interview next week. Did you negotiate?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
