Negotiating an offer, is it too late? (Austin)

It is the first offer in 2 months and I do not want to mess it up. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did you negotiate?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
