Negotiating an offer, is it too late? after 9 years as a customer-service rep

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a competing interview next week. What wording worked?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
