Negotiating an offer, is it too late? after 7 years as a bookkeeper

I received an offer as a bookkeeper and I think the pay is a little low. I worked as a bookkeeper before this. The hiring manager was friendly and open.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
