Negotiating an offer, is it too late? after 17 years as an insurance claims processor

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a competing interview next week. Did it backfire?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
