Negotiating an offer, is it too late? after 15 years as a mechanic

I received an offer as a mechanic and I think the pay is a little low. The benefits are decent.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
