Negotiating an offer, is it too late?, administrative assistant here

I received an offer as an administrative assistant and I think the pay is a little low. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a competing interview next week. Did you negotiate?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
