Negotiating an offer, is it too late? - 7 weeks in

It is the first offer in 8 months and I do not want to mess it up. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The hiring manager was friendly and open.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
