Negotiating an offer, is it too late? - 6 weeks in

I received an offer as a hotel front-desk agent and I think the pay is a little low. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The benefits are decent. What wording worked?

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
