Negotiating an offer, is it too late?

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. Any experience at all would help. The hiring manager was friendly and open. Did you negotiate?

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.
