Negotiating an offer, is it too late?

I want to negotiate but I am afraid they will withdraw. I am in Fresno, in case local advice matters. I have a competing interview next week. Did you negotiate?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
