Negotiating an offer, is it too late? - 12 months and counting

I received an offer as a dental hygienist and I think the pay is a little low. Any experience at all would help. The benefits are decent. Did it backfire?

Ask about the range, not a number on its own. It felt more collaborative.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.
