Interview nerves, what actually helps? - what worked for you?

It has been 12 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. The role is similar to my old job as a teaching assistant. What calms you down?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
