Interview nerves, what actually helps? - what worked for you?

It has been 10 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. Any questions to ask at the end?

Prepare three stories with a clear beginning, action and result, and adapt them to the questions.
