Interview nerves, what actually helps? (Chicago)

It has been 7 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. The role is similar to my old job as a graphic designer. How do you prepare answers?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
