Interview nerves, what actually helps? - any advice?

It has been 12 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The role is similar to my old job as a welding apprentice. Any questions to ask at the end?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
