Interview nerves, what actually helps? after 9 years as a mechanic

I have an interview on Monday and my stomach is in knots. Thank you in advance. I want to come across as confident and honest. How do you prepare answers?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
