Interview nerves, what actually helps? after 6 years as a mechanic

I get tongue-tied when I am asked about my weaknesses. I am in Tulsa, in case local advice matters. The role is similar to my old job as a mechanic. How do you prepare answers?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.
