Interview nerves, what actually helps? after 5 years as a teaching assistant

I get tongue-tied when I am asked about my weaknesses. I am in Memphis, in case local advice matters. I have practised answers but they sound stiff.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.
