Interview nerves, what actually helps? after 17 years as an IT help-desk technician

It has been 4 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. Any questions to ask at the end?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.

Arrive early, drink water and take a slow breath before you walk in. It sounds simple but it helps.
