Interview nerves, what actually helps? - 7 months and counting

It has been 7 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
