I freeze in interviews, tips? (Richmond)

It has been 8 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

Arrive early, drink water and take a slow breath before you walk in. It sounds simple but it helps.
