I freeze in interviews, tips? after 10 years as a bank teller

It has been 8 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

I record myself on my phone and listen back. The second try is always better than the first.

Prepare three stories with a clear beginning, action and result, and adapt them to the questions.
