I freeze in interviews, tips? - 12 months and counting

It has been 12 months since my last interview and I feel rusty. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have practised answers but they sound stiff. How do you prepare answers?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
