How much room is there after an offer? - what worked for you?

I received an offer as an HR coordinator and I think the pay is a little low. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a competing interview next week.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Most employers expect a short conversation. Mine did not even blink.
