How much room is there after an offer? - what worked for you?

I received an offer as a payroll clerk and I think the pay is a little low. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a competing interview next week.

If they say no, consider asking for something else, such as a review in six months.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
